Soap Ear Sculptures, 2020. in a town full of overworked musicians, what if one day all their ears fell off? they wake up with their most precious sense of hearing scattered to the wind and the city’s entire economy is put on hold. a fantasy or a warning that came true in the way that a pandemic changes a town, and my soap ears remained in my studio instead of planted around the streets. this is an ongoing exploration with the ephemeral and performative material of soap.
